Trauma Based
Psychotherapy
Life can send some tough, unexpected situations at us that often make us feel out of control.

I have dedicated my career to learning and working to understand how adverse experiences can impact us at all stages of life.

As a Clinical Trauma Specialist, I l look forward to working together

Trauma Based Psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children
Crisis Response
Crisis arise at the most unpredictable times in ways that there is no handbook on what exactly to do. These can include environmental crisis, human made crisis and technology crisis.

Crisis can bring up a variety of thoughts, reactions and adverse symptoms.

Dr. Gina is specially trained in evidence based crisis response protocols. She is trained by NOVA and is part of the NOVA crisis response team.

Dr. Gina is able to respond on site as well as provide consultation in these situations.
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
The young ones in our life are learning how to navigate different situations in life for the first time, and it can bring mixed thoughts and feelings.
I work with children and teens to process the tough stuff. We work together to proactively start building the skills they need to help them be as mentally healthy as possible as they move forward through life.
Education,
Prevention and Training
It would be nice if kiddos came with a handbook on how to handle the tough stuff wouldn't it?

Let's work together on how to handle the tough behaviors, setting boundaries and how to keep kids safe.

This type of services can be helpful to parents, caregivers, teachers and other professionals working with youth.
Frontline
Stress
Sometimes, the job that we love turns into a daily challenge.
Working in an environment where we constantly support others often translates into decreased mental health for ourselves. Lets work together to make sure that you take care of yourself so that you are able to care for others.

Dr. Gina is a Certified First Responder Counselor.
My Approach
I have found that life can be messy, and there was no handbook designed to tell you how to handle each situation that is thrown at you.
It would be great if taking care of our mental health came with a handbook to tell us exactly what to do--if only! While we can't control the things that happen around us, or to us, we can start to control how we respond.

Dr. Gina at Solid Roots, LLC utilizes your strength as an individual and your drive to live fully. You are strong and resilient. Dig in. You got this-and I am here to help.
